What the records said on 6 November 2026
The question behind the clips can be answered from the game's own records, so start there. Both listings answered on 6 November 2026, neither record carried the content-restricted flag, and both are free to enter.

The vote counter on the competition listing read 36,040 up against 4,181 down, the group behind both places had 249,297 members, and the four game passes read 399, 199, 149 and 99 Robux when this site last read them on 3 November 2026, on records last updated 16 October 2026.
Those player counts are point readings from one moment, not a trend. The competition listing has been read three times since the clips — 4,197 inside on 14 October, 864 on 29 October, 307 on 6 November — and different hours of the day move that number on their own, so this page does not call that a decline. What the 6 November read does show is that at that minute the all-ages listing carried more people than the 16+ one.
October 2026, in the order it happened
- 12 October, morning — the age record still read zero. This site's read at 05:0xZ returned the name Makeup Mania! BETA [HETEROCHROMIA] and an age recommendation of Minimal with a minimum age of 0. The up-vote counter climbed from 25,003 to 25,156 inside the same hour, so people were playing while that reading stood.
- 12 October, the same day — the game page stopped answering. At 05:5xZ the games endpoint returned a placeholder object for this game's universe while a control universe in the same request returned real data, and the Roblox game page answered with a redirect to
Title-Unavailablefor signed-in and signed-out readers alike. In the same hour 37 public servers were listed and the index showed 17,242 people inside the game. - 12 and 13 October — the clips. A 33-second short titled MAKEUP MANIA GOT DELETED… was uploaded on 12 October and had 66,295 views when this page read it on 6 November. A TikTok returned by Google that day is titled makeup mania got REMOVED from roblox. A 89-second explainer, What Happened to Makeup Mania on Roblox?, was uploaded the same day. Its own description states the question it is answering.
- 13 October — the game answered again. This site's read at 05:1xZ returned a real record: a build stamped 12 October 2026 at 23:20 UTC, 6,091 people inside, visits at 34,222,816. The placeholder did not reproduce. A 53-second short uploaded that day is titled MAKEUP MANIA IS BACK ON ROBLOX (16+ ONLY) and had 38,355 views at this read.
- 14 October — the age record read 16+ for the first time. The endpoint that had returned Minimal two days earlier returned Moderate with a minimum age of 16. The build on that read was stamped 13 October 2026 at 21:47 UTC, and 4,197 people were inside.
- 20 October — a second listing opened. The group published Makeup Mania! BETA [ALL AGES], whose description opens with FREEPLAY ONLY and whose own age record reads Minimal with a minimum age of 0. That is the listing a signed-out search can see.
- 25 October — the newest build. Twelve days later, on 6 November 2026, that timestamp had not moved, and the listing's description still read New content coming soon.
Players are reporting that the popular styling game has disappeared from search, leaving many wondering whether it was banned, deleted, or temporarily removed.
That sentence is from the description of the 12 October explainer above, not from Roblox. It is the clearest statement of what players were asking that week, and it names the three explanations people were choosing between: banned, deleted, temporarily removed.
What was actually broken on 12 October
Read the middle of that list closely, because it separates two things the clips run together: the game and its store page. On 12 October the servers were listed and running — 37 public servers, 17,242 people inside by the same-hour index — while the page a visitor lands on answered with a redirect to Title-Unavailable. Someone following a search result or a link that day had nothing to open, which looks exactly like a deleted game from the outside.
Why the page failed, and whether the age change that landed within the next two days is connected to it, is stated on no surface this site can read: the listing descriptions carry no notice, the group's announcement field was empty when it was read on 6 November 2026, and no moderation message has been published anywhere this site can reach. Order is not cause, and this page does not turn one into the other.
Why it can still look gone to you
The durable reason is the age gate, not a deletion. The competition listing's age record reads Moderate with a minimum age of 16, and the descriptor printed behind it is free form user creation: the makeup on a face is drawn by the player, so Roblox treats the drawing tools as age-restricted content. An account that has not passed the age check does not get a Play button on that tile — it gets Unlock.
Search makes it worse. A search made without signing in on 6 November 2026 returned 40 games: the all-ages listing stood first with 550 players on its row, and the 16+ listing was not among the 40 at all. So an unsigned-in search hands you the freeplay place and hides the competition one. The age guide covers the account check itself, and the links page covers which of the two places to open.
The name is not a new game
The listing name changes with almost every build, and it is the only per-build note the developers publish: [HETEROCHROMIA] on 12 October 2026, [LASH TECH UPDATE] before that, [MALE HEAD] today. Players read the change as a relaunch or as a second game — makeup mania new name is a completion Google returned at relevance 601 while this page was being written — so treat a new bracket as a build tag rather than as a new game with a new audience.
The explanation you may have been shown
Above the results for what happened to makeup mania, Google served an AI summary on 6 November 2026 that states a cause: that the game was temporarily taken down and set to private in October 2026 after the owner's account was hacked, and that the developer confirmed the account was compromised. It attributes that claim to a creator's video.
This site could find no official surface carrying that explanation on 6 November 2026 — not the listing description, not the group, not a moderation notice — so it stays in this paragraph as an explanation in circulation, not as an established fact. What would settle it is short and specific: a sentence on the group, a line in a listing description, or a statement from the account that owns the group.
How to check the state yourself
Four reads, in this order, take about a minute and do not depend on anyone's account of October.
- Open the listing, not a search. The competition place is
roblox.com/games/117935850321807; the all-ages one isroblox.com/games/128404538075564. - Read the build line. The listing shows when it was last updated. If that date is older than a few weeks, the game is quiet, not gone.
- Read the maturity line. If it says Maturity: Moderate, ages 16+, and your tile offers Unlock instead of Play, the gate stopped you. That is a different thing from a removal.
- Read the player count on the page. A number there means people are inside while you read it.
If a page refusing to load is what worried you, note which page it was: this site's own 12 October failure was the store page, while the servers behind it kept running. To tell the real listing from a copy that borrowed the name, the links page has the three-point check, including the creator field and the group ID.
What this page does not claim
- No cause for 12 October. One placeholder response and one redirect are recorded; the reason behind them is not, by this site or by anyone it can read.
- No duration. The failure was seen in one hour of one day from one network. A shorter window on 13 October, or on the days this site did not read, cannot be ruled out from here.
- No statement about what Roblox did. No moderation notice, no restriction record and no developer statement has been found, in either direction.
- No audience figures beyond point readings. The three playing counts on this page were taken at different hours and are not a trend line.
- No answer to why the rating changed. The descriptor Roblox prints is free form user creation; nothing published says when the change was decided or by whom.
